A 12-person bookable sauna located amidst the basement’s vaults was completed in the summer of 2003. During the organ factory period the space now occupied by the sauna remained unused and had in fact been filled with sand. Construction began with the removal of the sand and the longstanding dream of a bookable sauna finally became a reality. This unique and richly atmospheric spatial ensemble provides a refreshing way to give a conference day or dinner party the perfect finishing touch.

The bookable sauna includes 2 showers, 2 toilets and one dressing room. The sauna is reached through the Anders Room, which is also reserved for sauna users during the 3-hour sauna shifts. The Anders Room has its own outside entrance on the building’s yard side. Light snacks and beverages can be ordered in connection with sauna bookings. After a refreshing sauna your group can enjoy a pleasant dinner at the Restaurant Café Urku. The Anders Room’s amenities include a CD player and Internet connection that can be ordered for party and conference use.
