Facilities

The old organ factory was converted to a hotel in 1993. A wide range of conference and dining facilities is available: six rooms ranging from the intimate 10-person Klubi Room to the spacious 150-person Kaarina Hall. The 100-year-old organ factory’s uppermost floor was taken into use in connection with a renovation carried out in 2004; there is space for as many as 280 persons in the new "attic floor" halls. The Kaarina and Klaavi halls exude a delightfully old-fashioned atmosphere and are perfect for various types of conferences and festivities. On the building’s second floor, the beautiful Old Ballroom’s arched windows provide excellent views to the nearby Kirkkojärvi landscape.

Conferences, exhibitions, cocktail events, family celebrations, dinner parties, concerts and other similar functions can be organised at our hotel’s conference and dining facilities. The rooms superbly suit all kinds of celebrations; the Kangasala Church is only a few hundred metres from the hotel, and the Hotel Urku has become a popular place to hold wedding parties.

The Kaarina Hall is located on the building’s uppermost floor. In a classroom form the area seats 70 persons; for a festive table setting, 150 persons. Floor area 330 m².

The Klaavi Hall on the third floor has space for 40 persons in a classroom form and seats 60-90 diners. Floor area 220 m².

On the building’s second floor the Old Ballroom is a superb function room for 90 persons. When used for conferences, the room’s maximum capacity is 50 persons. Floor area 200 m².

The Klubi Room adjoining the Old Ballroom accommodates 12 persons for small-scale meetings, parties or group work. Floor area 25 m².

The Urku Room on street level is a conveniently accessible and clearly organised conference facility for a maximum of 20 in a classroom layout. Besides normal meeting equipment, a whiteboard is provided. For festive occasions, 30 persons can dine in the room along two long tables. Floor area 70 m².

Entered from the yard side, the Anders Room is located immediately adjacent to the sauna department. This sunny and windowed private dining room offers space for 16 persons in a classroom configuration, or 30 persons seated at tables. Floor area 70 m².
